Another day of technology...

Sitting here on Friday August 16 in the Bolin Center Computer Lab, learning more ways how use technology in art. I've been playing around with some new art apps...Wow! Let me share some with you.

	Brushes: $4.99 A painting application designed from scratch for the iPhone and iPod touch. Featuring an advanced color picker, several realistic brushes, layers, extreme zooming, and a simple yet deep interface, it is a powerful tool for creating original artwork on your mobile device.
	Lets create Pottery HD: $4.99 A unique app where you create pottery with your fingers from molding, to firing it, painting it, and finally sharing it. It has an ordering system where you can make pottery, or make and sell it. As you earn money you can buy colors and brushes to decorate your pottery.
	Letters of Vincent van Gogh: FREE A application provided by the Van Gogh Museum. It uses the artist's own letters to explore the life and times of one of the world's most famous man.  Here for the first time you can enter the mind of Vincent himself and discover his real genius.
	Musee de Lourve: FREE The world's largest museum houses a fabulous collection of more than 35,000 works of art… in a historic palace! But if you can't come to the Louvre, we can help you discover the museum's must-sees on your iPod touch or even your iPad!
	Etch-a-Sketch Lite: FREE Re-live the classic drawing fun of Etch A Sketch on your iPhone or iPod Touch. This "Lite" version allows you to draw and color with your finger or with the knobs! You can "shake to erase", and save up to 3 of your drawings.
	Jazz Sculptor: $1.99 Sculptor is an application that you can experience carving touching on screen. Tap to chisel away on a block of wood or even a pumpkin. There is “User’s Gallery” where you can see hundred of collection of user created sculptures all over the world. Please have a look at those works first.
	Lego: FREE Here’s an app to immortalize your favorite things in LEGO form. Just point the camera, import the images select one, press the button, and watch the masterpiece build! Capture your child’s moments of brilliance in LEGO bricks. Create a pixelised artwork in seconds.
	Symmetry: $1.99 Symmetry will take you to the completely symmetry world. Use your favorite photos and get a taste of symmetrical style and you will be amazed with the photos. You can create vertical and horizontal symmetry images in a second.
